Welcome
We’re glad you are here! Brave Babies is committed to empowering children to maximize their potential by providing personalized care and support in a comfortable environment.

Dr. Marthy Lucika Brave studied Psychology and Exercise Physiology at the University of Miami before earning her clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Miller School of Medicine. Upon graduating, she focused her personal practice to working with vulnerable patients in the hospital and intensive care settings. As an independent provider, she brought that knowledge into children’s natural environment by guiding them through milestones in the comfort of their homes and daycares. With over 5 years of dedicated experience treating medically fragile infants and toddlers, Dr. Brave brings unparalleled compassion and expertise to support her clients’ goals. She understands that each child's journey is unique, and every family's aspirations are personal.

Compassion
Working with patients across the lifespan and with varying functional levels requires patience, understanding, and an appreciation for the light inside of each of them.
Collaboration
The therapeutic relationship requires input from the therapist, family, and the child. When working with a child, it is essential to be receptive to their cues and use gentle techniques to help them meet their therapy goals.
Confidence
New movement patterns and positions can feel scary for little ones, so helping them feel safe and trust themselves to move as freely and independently as possible is the goal.
